Simone Biles

Simone Biles (born on March 14th, 1997 in Columbus, Ohio U.S.A.) American Gymnast considered one the sport's best athletes. She was the first American female gymnast to ever win four gold medals during the same Games. In Rio de Janeiro, she was also the first female to have won consecutive World All-Around titles. Biles was born in Spring Texas. Her grandparents Ronald Biles (and her sister Adria) adopted them. The Biles family grew up in the metropolitan areas of Houston. Simone was first drawn to gymnastics while she was just six. Coach Aimee Borman brought her to Bannon's Gymnastix which was where they went on an excursion. Biles earned a silver in vault in 2010 and also a bronze medal at the Women's Junior Olympic National Championships. She then moved up to the level of elite competition in 2011. Two years after that, Biles dominated the sport. Biles was distinguished by her consistency in performance, vivacious persona, and the difficulty she encountered at each of the four events: vault, bars with uneven surfaces, and balance beam.
