Kari Sam Wuhrer, born on April 28, 1968, is an American Actress and Singer. She began her professional career as a teenager. She is recognized for her role as Maggie Beckett in the television series Sliders and as the Sheriff Samantha Parker in the horror comedy film Eight Legged Freaks.Wuhrer was born in Brookfield, Connecticut, the daughter of Karin (nee Noble), a payroll accountant, and German American Andrew Wuhrer, an officer in the police force and a auto salesman. She has been blessed with three brothers. The singer began performing in club nights as a teenager. She would sneak out of her home to perform. She studied acting from when she was 13 years old at Wooster School, then studied acting at the NYU's Tisch School of the Arts, Marymount Manhattan College, Columbia University, and the Royal Academy of Dramatic Arts alongside renowned teacher Uta Hagen.Kari Samantha Wuhrer, a model from Connecticut is an American model, actress and singer. Kari was first introduced to acting at the age of 13 and got her big break in 1987 on MTV Remote Control.
