In the television industry, she's had prominent roles in shows like "The Newsroom," "Code Black,"" "How to Escape from Murder,""" "Trophy Wife,"" and "The Morning Show," along with other shows. Harden is also a stage performer and performs in Broadway's "Angels in America" as well as "God of Carnage". Marcia Gay Harden was born in San Diego, California on 14 August 1959. Her parents were Beverly the housewife and Thad, an officer in the US Navy. She is also the mother of three children and an older brother. Due to her father's work as diplomat, the family often traveled around the globe including countries such as Germany, Japan and Greece. Harden was a student at Surrattsville High School in Clinton, Maryland after she had settled down. In 1980, she attended the University of Texas at Austin where she earned her bachelor's degree in theater. Harden was accepted into NYU's Tisch School of the Arts 1988 in order to earn her MFA.
